According to WHO, 2.3 million women worldwide were diagnosed with breast cancer, and 68500 lost their lives. Breast Cancer happens to women in every country of the world at any age after puberty. Cancer.org also states that incidence rates in recent years have increased by 0.5% per year. 

To increase and spread awareness about the second cause of most cancer deaths in women, October is observed as breast cancer awareness month.
